The dropped down floor level to the new living area is one of the spatial features of the design.	A sculptural cutout in the main ceiling to accommodate a skylight.

This extension provides much needed extra living space for a young family, and deals with a tricky sloping block that slopes towards the west on an elevated block in Weston. The views are spectacular but the afternoon sun in summer is a real problem. Currently under construction and should be completed in the next month.
