The firm and its principal
are registered with the Architects Registration Boards of the ACT and
NSW, and the principal is a member of the Royal Australian Institute of
Architects where he serves on the ACT Practice Committee. We are members
of several professional and industry associations, and carry $2 million
professional indemnity insurance through Australian Pacific Underwriting
Agency Pty Ltd for your protection. The firm grew out of the Melbourne based Crone Ross Pty Ltd which has been in practice since 1977. A Canberra branch was set up in 1986 with Geoff Driscoll as the local office manager. In February 1989, he bought this part of the practice and renamed it Geoff Driscoll Architects Pty Ltd. We are a medium sized practice with a background in residential, educational and institutional buildings for both the ACT and NSW governments, but our specialisation and the most enjoyable part of the practice is smaller "hand crafted" residences and extensions for private clients.
